The Resentment Dumpers

Dump your Resentment, not your Relationship!

About The Resentment Dumpers…

TRDLogo011012Who are we?  Just a couple of folks who are passionate and curious about the subject of relationships! The Resentment Dumpers was born out of a burning desire to understand what went wrong in our respective intimate relationships and how to avoid the same mistakes in the future. It all started with the simple concept that resentment is the enemy, not your partner. That tiny ember grew into the raging fire of relationship comprehension we call The Melfox Method.

JoeProfileSquareJoe Mellon is a Certified Marriage Educator, author, and lecturer.  In previous lives, he’s been an industrial engineer, controller, mail-order clerk, and systems manager.  In future lives, Joe hopes to explore video production and perhaps run a pizza joint with karaoke.  When he’s not writing about the pursuit of healthy relationships, Joe can be seen surfing the web for new and exciting stuff, playing with his three sons, or watching Jeopardy!  He is still in mourning from Albert Pujols’ decision to leave the St. Louis Cardinals.

As the other half of The Resentment Dumpers, Meryl Fox brings some serious life skills to the table!  Hybrid bookworm/hard-nosed Philly girl meets Soccer Mom Supreme. 🙂  Hey, it’s a bit of a strange combo, but all together it adds up to someone who enjoys life and gets things done!  Meryl spent the 80′s as a radio DJ “The Fox that Rocks!” in Utah, Texas and her hometown of Philadelphia.  Nowadays, when time allows you’ll find Meryl listening to Audible books, obsessing over “Hamilton: An American Musical” , keeping up with celebrity gossip (don’t judge!),  playing trivia, and dreaming of her Jeopardy debut!! Goals for this phase of her life include World Domination in the field of conflict resolution and healthy relationships,  and ultimately having a summer home in the Pacific Northwest.

Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. — Mark Twain
